SEMICON WEST 2007 Another Winner One Giant Step for Gases & Instrumentation
As usual, SEMICON West was a
winner. With more than 200 gas-related vendors, it was a bonanza for G&I. The Gases & Instrumentation (G&I) Premiere
Issue presented at SEMICON West 2007 in San Francisco was a resounding success.
Gas companies realize that they now have a voice with a magazine that is 100%
focused on the technology, products, and news of this exciting and dynamic industry.
It was encouraging to hear the vendors express their interest and support for
G&I and its mission.
The Premiere Issue was on target with five informative feature articles. The
topics ranged over a broad spectrum of gases technology, true to G&I’s
charter to serve all vertical markets. The topics included ground-breaking
research in FTIR gas analysis, ammonia bulk gas delivery, compressed air, gas
detection and HVAC, and a Q&A on using refurbished gas delivery equipment,
a topic that is increasing in importance as reuse and recycling gain momentum
in an industry determined to participate in the “going green” imperative.
SEMICON West also afforded the opportunity for the G&I staff to see new
products and to renew acquaintances of old friends at Swagelok, Tiger Optics,
Ceodeux, Praxair, Entegris, Pall, ENMET, Horiba, Lighthouse and many others.
In living up to its promise of being the single most vocal and valuable source
for the gases industry, G&I will continue to monitor and report on the
innovations and growth of an industry that is indispensable to the 21st century.
Again, many thanks to the vendors who support us, and thanks to SEMICON West
for providing the venue.
